A. James Movinsky

Movinsky, A. James 76 Northern Cambria, Rd., passed away January 4, 2017 in Northern Cambria. Born July 11, 1940 in Greenwich, son of William and Bessie (McDonald) Movinsky. Preceded in death by  parents, step-father Michael Zieminski, brother Bernard and infant nephew Doyle Movinsky. Survived by children, Bill Movinsky, Amy Parker and Sharon Roane all  of Oklahoma, David Lucas of Cherry Tree, Deb Barr of Austin, Pa, Jim "Sam" Movinsky and Cindy Dunmire both of Clymer Rd., and their spouses. 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also sister-in-law Rowena Szymanek of New York. Jim retired from Fisher Scientific of Indiana as a fork lift operator. He was the owner of A. J. Feed  of  Northern Cambria. A member of Hope Grange, and  Spruce Community Center. He enjoyed farming and local stock car racing. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Steve Lecorchick will officiate.
