Pavlock, Adolph J. "Ed", of Indiana, formerly of Ebensburg and Barnesboro, died October 28, 2003 at Indiana Hospital. Born October 8, 1924, in Greenwich, son of John and Josephine (Goodrich) Pavlock. Preceded in death by parents, brothers August, Adam, and Joseph; and sisters Stella Kluge and Frances Stiffler. Survived by sister, Marian Cirbes of Warren, MI; nephew Thomas Pavlock, Arlington VA; and nieces Jean Waggoner, Erie; Carol Keller, Starford; and Camille Francisco, Pittsburgh. Also survived by long time friend Helen and her son Dan of Indiana; and long time friends William McMullen and family of Northern Cambria. Former member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII; served in South Pacific Theatre in New Guinea. Received Mortuary Degree from N.Y.U. Formerly employed at Bacha Funeral Home and Long Funeral Home, both of Barnesboro. Retired agent for Prudential Insurance Co., Barnesboro office. Avid hunter and fisherman. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. . Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. Military rites will be conducted by local Veterans organizations. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mr. Pavlock by the funeral home.
