Alice Marie Lamer

Lamer, Alice Marie, 80 of Laurel Crest Rehabilitation and Special Care Center, Ebensburg, formerly of Northern Cambria, died February 15, 2005 at Laurel Crest. Born May 24, 1924 in Green Twp., Indiana County. Preceded in death by Mother, Eliza McDonald. Survived by children: Gene D. Lamer of Pine Flats; Barbara A. Hagerich and husband Rodney of Vinco; Robert A. Lamer and wife Rose Marie (Jarvis) of Northern Cambria and Clayton A. Lamer and wife Gloria (Michny) of Penn Run. Also Grandchildren: Carla Hindle, Lesa Marcolini and husband Frank; Robert Berringer; Denise Draganza and husband Earnest; Mary Ellen Lamer and friend Richard Frampton; Jeannine Lamer and friend Patrick Yanez; Brian Lamer and wife Angela; Todd Hagerich and wife Kimberly; Tracey Brocious and husband Jeffrey; Mark and Matthew Lamer. Great-grandchildren: Alex and Alanna Hindle; Dominick and Carri Marcolini, Kyle Berringer; Samantha and Kasey Bozzer; Michael, Gabriel and Joseph Lamer; Katherine and Emma Hagerich; Tyler, Luke and Adam Brocious. Sister of Robert McDonald of Cookport. She was a member of the Pine Flats Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for several years. Formerly employed at Schroth's Nursery, then McCrory's 5 & 10, Northern Cambria for greater than 30 years. Following retirement she was a Foster Grandmother at the Ebensburg Center for greater than 11 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. 822 Philadelphia Ave. Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Peter Foley. Interment, McDowell Cemetery, Green Township.
