Amos E. Wagner, 87 of Northern Cambria passed away, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 28, 1935, in Spangler. A son to the late Amos and Beatrice Wagner.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Anona (Kammerer) Wagner; two children, Rex (Karen) Thorburn of OH and Roxanne Walters of OH; five grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Daren, Angie, and Ryan; three great grandchildren, Lacy, Harrison and Ava; a brother, Richard "Bud" Wagner; and a sister, Stella "Boots" Harvey.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Weakland.
He retired as a foreman from USG in Ohio after 20 plus years of service. He served in the U.S Army.
Amos enjoyed hunting deer and rabbits and loved training Beagles. He was a member of the Tri County Beagle club, Carrolltown.
Friends will be received Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating.
