Ann Yee (also known as Ann Baier and Ann Trinkley) passed away, Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Grand Blanc, Mi.
Annie was born in Detroit on April 9,1952, to the late Raymond and Pearl (Butterworth) Trinkley.
She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Robert Yee and they had twins, a son Robert Yee currently a senior at Oakland University working on his B.S. in nursing and a daughter Sarah Yee a senior currently working on her biomedical engineering degree. She is also survived by a sister, Colleen Shultz.
When Ann was in high school she earned a cosmetology license to earn money to help her parents with family expenses. She was awarded a full four year scholarship to Albion college under one condition that she maintained a 3.85 grade point average. For her that was not a problem. Ann also earned a master’s degree in guidance counseling and was working on her doctorate degree when she was taken gravely ill.
Ann loved to teach third, fourth and fifth grade. She retired from Grand Blanc School after 33 years of teaching and the hardest part of teaching was management harassment. Ann later joined the Milford school system and worked as a substitute teacher. She taught Bible school sang in the choir and played a really sweet sax.
Interment will be made at North Barnesboro Cemetery.
