Anna C. Bacha

Bacha, Anna C., 94 of Northern Cambria, died December 27, 2003 at Haida Manor, Hastings. Born October 25, 1909, in Tarentum, daughter of George and Mary (Sheba) Pivarnik. Preceded in death by parents, husband Joseph in 1981, and sisters Julia, Irene, Mary, Elizabeth Brant, and brother George. Survived by children, Charles, Joe, Irene, and Bob, all of Indiana, and Joanne Yeager, Cincinnati, OH. Also survived by 9 Grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Past member and head of Altar and Rosary Society at former St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Also member of Secular Franciscan Order for more than 60 years. Friends received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Altar and Rosary Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by Vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m.Tuesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at St. John's R.C. Cemetery.
