Anna Bobby

Bobby, Anna, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, formerly of Barnesboro, died February 20, 2003. Born April 30, 1912, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Surgent) Sejkanich in Niz Komarnik, Czechoslovakia. Preceded in death by husband Peter in 1977. Survived by sons Ronald and wife Barbara, and Michael, and daughter-in-law Terry Bobby, all of Niagara Falls, NY, grandchildren Ronald Bobby and wife Michelle of Kodak, TN, Michelle married to Peter Tardibuono of Niagara Falls, NY, and Raymond Simpson of Boulder Creek, CA, great-grandchildren Crystal, Ashley, and Ronald of Kodak, TN, and Joseph and Anthony Tardibuono of Niagara Falls, NY. Also survived by a dear niece Ann (George) Budjada of Thorold, Ontario, and several nieces and nephews from Pennsylvania. A homemaker all of her life, she liked to cook and bake for her friends and family in a home that she loved. She also enjoyed gardening and making hand woven rugs. A loving mother and grandmother, she moved to Niagara Falls, NY in 1989 to be closer to her sons and grandchildren and resided with her son Michael. In 1997 Anna was very excited to take her first trip on an airplane to visit with her grandson and his family in Tennessee. She enjoyed being there with her family but often reminisced about her dear friends, neighbors and family she knew in Barnesboro. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Panachida services will be held at 8:00 p.m. and also at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Funeral of divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Rev. Oliver Hebert. Burial in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Bobby by Long-Contres
