Bessie E. Movinsky-Zieminski

Movinsky-Zieminski, Bessie E. 97, of Grismore Road, Northern Cambria, died January 13, 2004 at home. Born July 20, 1906 in Green Township, daughter of Albert and LaVern (Elliott) McDonald. Preceded in death by parents, first husband William Movinsky in 1958, second husband Michael Zieminski in 1980, son Bernard Movinsky, infant grandson Doyle Movinsky, a brother George McDonald and sisters Mary Pershing, Lottie Gromley, Florence Frampton and Nelphie Stiffler. Survived by son James of Northern Cambria, with whom she resided. Also grandchildren: Bill Movinsky, Amy Lewis and Sharon Roane all of Oklahoma, David Lucas and wife Lara of Cherry Tree, Debra Hudson of Austin, James "Sam" Movinsky and wife Lisa of Clymer and Cindy Dunmire and husband Darin of Clymer. Also gr. Grandchildren: Steele and McCain Lewis, Jenilee Movinsky, Melia and Denise Roane, April, Beth, Sherri, Heather, Alli and Megan Hudson, Chris, Amanda and Eric Lucas, and Daniel and Sammy Jo Movinsky and Brandon Dunmire. Sister of Shirley Ruggles and Hazel Berringer both of Cherry Tree and Gladys Gordon of Johnstown. Also survived by daughter-in-law Rowena Szymanek of Irving, New York and special friends Harold and Judy Moorhead, Missy Fridley and Robin Krouse, and several stepchildren and step-grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother, she was a member of Goodridge Church of God and the Hope Grange. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Mitchell Johnston. Interment McDowell Cemetery. Family requests that memorial contributions be sent to VNA of Indiana County, Medical Arts Bldg., Hospital Road, Indiana, Pa. 15701.
