C. M. Pavelko

Pavelko, C.M. "Sid", 69 of Northern Cambria, died January 22, 2004 at home. Born August 30, 1934, in Barnesboro, son of Anthony and Suzanna (Semian) Pavelko. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers Joseph and Stephen. Survived by wife of 47 years, former Anne Crickmer, and daughters, Suzanne married to Douglas Michaels of Northern Cambria, and Amy married to Patrick Gill of Lewisberry. Also survived by grandchildren Bryanne Michaels; and Bridgit and Shane Gill. Brother of, Anthony of Delaware; Helen Burns of Florida; Frank of Cherry Tree, Margaret Jones of Michigan; Anne Oliver of North Carolina; Mary Drahnak of Hastings R.D.; and Edward of Deleware. U.S. Army Veteran. Retired owner of Franks Video, Northern Cambria. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church; Barnesboro Slovak Club and American Legion, and Braggers Club. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Altar and Rosary service will be held at 3:00 p.m. followed by Vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where military rites will be conducted by local Veterans organizations. Committal at St. John the Baptist R.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
