Caroline “Carol” Ann Mullen, 72 of Northern Cambria passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at home. She was born April 17, 1950, in Spangler, a daughter of the late Mike “Slim” and Gertrude (Link) Havrilla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Thomas Mullen, Jr. and a son, Darrin Michael Mullen.
Surviving are her children, Heather (Harvey) Rhine of Nanty Glo, T.J. Mullen (Ronnie Weaver) of Northern Cambria; three grandchildren, Hannah Nicole (Ryan Campbell), Haley Michael and Heidi Elizabeth Rhine; four brothers, Bill (Marge), Mike (Ann), Tom (Lynn), and Rick (Sue) Havrilla; a sister, Sue Havrilla and two godchildren, Chris and Mikey Havrilla.
Carol was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was an LPN for fifteen years retiring from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, woodwork, crafting, and feeding the ducks. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria and Monday, May 16, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be held Monday, at Prince of Peace Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Father Leonard Voytek officiating. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist R.C. Cemetery.
