Clair Noel Leamer

Leamer, Clair Noel, 85 of Spotsylvania, VA formerly of LaJose, PA died April 14, 2005 at Eden Pines, Petersburg, VA. Born September 7, 1919, in Westover, PA son of Luther and Nira Mae (Westover) Leamer. Preceded in death by parents; wife former Sara Belle Spaid in 1999, daughter Carol Jean Leamer; sisters Alice Caldwell, and Ellen Leamer; and brothers Levi and Lynn Leamer. Survived by daughter Diana L. Poland, Colonial Heights, VA; and son Lester A. and wife Sharon, Spotsylvania, VA; grandchildren Lesley and Stacy Leamer, and Michelle and Kristin Poland. Brother of Dallas, Northern Cambria, PA; Grace Sutton, Middlesex, NJ; Mary Moses, Princeton, MN; Bernice Leamer, Westover, PA; and Orvis, Burnside, PA. Retired carpenter from Tuckman and Barbee Construction Company, Washington D.C. Member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, Spotsylvania, VA; and Carpenter's Union 1665. Friends received from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree, PA, with Gerald Spaid presiding. Interment East Ridge Cemetery.
