David Allen Brothers

Brothers, David Allen, 63 of Altoona, formerly of LaJose, passed away February 17, 2017 at home.  Born August 12, 1953 in Spangler, son of Alden and Frances (Craver) Brothers. Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law Charlie SonTag. Survived by brothers, Phillip (Karen) Brothers of Denver, Colorado,  Dennis (Donna) Brothers of Mahaffey,  sisters, Martha SonTag of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Lesa (Bob) Higgins of Denver, Colorado and Grace (Kevin) McHugh of Kiowa, Colorado and wife Kim (Lenzie) Brothers and son Grant of Aurora, Colorado and many nieces and nephews. David was a U S Navy Veteran. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday February 26, 2017 and from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m Monday  at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Cherry Tree. Pastor William Degenkolb. Interment East Ridge Cemetery.
