Delphine Lois Taylor

Taylor, Delphine Lois, 70 of Northern Cambria, died March 25, 2003 at home. Born June 11, 1932, in Spangler, daughter of Louis Urbain and Celina (Bonin) Urbain. Preceded in death by parents, son Wayne and brother Frank Urbain. Survived by husband of 52 years, Charles Taylor, and children, Rev. Charles Taylor married to Donna (Lee) of New Berlin, NY, and Wanda Paronish of Cresson. Also survived by grandchildren Scott and Brett Taylor, Nicholas, Adam, Jayson and Gary Paronish. Member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Formerly employed for Quaker and A&P grocery stores in Barnesboro. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with Deacon Ann Staples and Mrs. Taylor's son Rev. Charles Taylor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 Osborne St., Johnstown, PA 15901. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Taylor by the funeral home.
