Edith O (Smith) Miller

Miller, Edith O. 89 Northern Cambria, died April 17, 2015 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born December 3, 1925 in Spangler, daughter of Carl and Lydia (Colgan ) Smith. Preceded in death by parents, husband Granville "Hank" in 2002 and brother Bud Smith. Survived by children, Shirley Kinney and companion Joe Corio of Cherry Tree and  Shelby Miller of Nicktown. Grandchildren Tami (Mark) Pellas, Cara Flora and companion Allan Sunderland, Cody Flora; Heather (Steve) Bearer, Amber (Bob) Novella and  Megan (Ryan) Burskey, also eleven great grandchildren and sister in-law  Mary Lou Smith and niece Mary Jane Beach. Edie did housekeeping and was a nurses aid. A life long member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and wonderful grandmother. Friends will be received  from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00p.m. Monday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria, Pastor Paul Demi will officiate. Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery.
