Edith M. (Makin) Stiles

           Edith M. Stiles, 86 of Ebensburg formerly of Nicktown, was called to the Lord on Monday morning November 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.
           She was born August 13, 1934 in Cambria Township, a daughter to the late Peter and Clara (White) Makin. She was married to Russell Stiles for 55 years. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2009.
           Surviving are two daughters, Reatta (Larry) Sherry; Suesta Stiles; a step son, Tim (Kelly) Stiles; a step daughter, Christy (David) Dively; ten grandchildren, Larry Sherry, Jr. (Erin Harshberger), Amanda Sherry (Amy Breon), Jessica Lanzendorfer (David), Matthew Sherry (Jess Reed), Charles Mullen, Lori George, Adrienna Williamson (James) and Samantha Hendrix, Tim Stiles, Jr., and Ashley Dively; and several great grandchildren.
           She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Cameron and a brother Arthur Makin.
           Edith enjoyed coloring, doing puzzles and spending time with family.
           A funeral service will be held privately. Interment will be made at Independent Country Church Cemetery.
