Eleanor L. Davis

Davis, Eleanor L. , 71 of Northern Cambria, formerly of Cherry Tree, died September 28, 2003 at home. Born August 7, 1932, in Cherry Tree, daughter of Robert L. and Mary E. (Dukes) Davis. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and Robert, and sister Mary Wetzel. Survived by daughter, Mary Boring, with whom she resided; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of, Ruth Stein, and Sarah Sinclair, both of Cherry Tree R.D.; Edna Duffy, Brockway; William, and Tom, both of Cherry Tree; Ken, Georgia; and Kathleen Bailey of Northern Cambria. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Citizens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, c/o Mary Boring, 409 Shawna Road, Northern Cambria, PA 15714.
