Elizabeth "Betty" Kirsch

Kirsch, Elizabeth "Betty", of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Spangler, died December 3, 2003 at her home. Born in Spangler, daughter of Luke and Annie (Lieb) Kirsch. Preceded in death by parents, sister Martha C. Kirsch, and brother Paul C. Kirsch. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Devota Ratchford of Baltimore, MD; brother Max Kirsch of Brookfield, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy Waves program during WWII. She retired from the ARA Corp. in Baltimore, after many years of faithful service. Betty was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Baltimore, where she volunteered her time and talents to benefit her parish community. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family requests that memorial contributions be made to Our Daily Bread Ministries, c/o Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 200 Ware Avenue, Towson, MD 21204.
