Elizabeth (Grecia) Mondi

Mondi, Elizabeth, 86 Ebensburg, formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away December 9, 2016 at Maple Winds Care Center, Portage. Born May 7, 1930 in St. Benedict, daughter of Joseph and Lena (Gross) Grecia . Preceded in death by parents, husband Angelo who died March 30, 2013, daughter-in-law Joyce (Yeckley) Mondi, sister's Rose and Peggy Zanghi, Catherine Trefro and infant brother and sister Cosmos and Catherine. Survived by children Christine (Rick) Brown of Ebensburg and Michael of Carrolltown. Grandchildren Daniel (Amy) Brown , Rebecca Brown,  Heather (Jeff) Satterfield and great-grandchildren Leah and Ryan Brown, Cullen and Liam Satterfield. Sister of Nicholas Grecia of California and Josephine Maloney of Baltimore Md. A former member of Our Lady of Mt.  Carmel Catholic Church and present member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. At Elizabeth's request, there will be no visitation. A catholic funeral service  will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  A special thanks to 365 Hospice.
