Elmer J. Noel

Noel, Elmer J., 68 of Northern Cambria, died December 26, 2004 at his home. Born May 31, 1936, in Byrnesville, son of the late Joseph G. and Sarah (Miller) Noel. Survived by brother, Bernard (Judy) Noel, of Northern Cambria; and these nieces and nephews: Joanie Noel, Zion Grove; Sheila Raymond, Millersville; Sharon Shelly, Columbia; David and Dan Noel, Northern Cambria; and numerous cousins. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Lived and worked as an electrician for several years in Cleveland, OH, before retiring and returning to Northern Cambria area. Faithfully attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with committal at Holy Cross Cemetery. Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mr. Noel.
