Elsie A. Mortensen

MORTENSEN - Elsie A., 86, of Northern Cambria, formerly of Bakerton, died April 9, 2004, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born Feb. 5, 1918, in Sagamore, daughter of Nelson Park and Emma (Allison) Cribbs. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry, in 1950; son, James "Percy"; daughter, Jill Geneva; and sister, Velma Smith. Survived by children, Jane Yencho of Patton and Gayle Keith and Robin Skupaka, both of Northern Cambria. Also 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruby Heubner of Westminster, Md.; Hazel Zapotocky and Connie Petrunak, both of Northern Cambria; and Irene Kolinko of Cherry Tree. Formerly employed at Huether's Restaurant. Retired from Carol Ann Fashions of Hastings. Former member of Bakerton United Methodist Church. Member of Bakerton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Also from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bakerton United Methodist Church, the Rev. John Weaver. Interment, church cemetery.
