Natarian, Francis M. "Frank", 84 of Northern Cambria, died November 30, 2004, at Altoona Hospital. Born September 29, 1920, in Spangler, son of Ross and Gesulda (Tronzo) Natarian. Preceded in death by parents, brother Nick, and sisters Carmen Anderson, Mae Ciaravella, and Angeline Pagano. Survived by wife of 51 years, former Pearl Hendrick, and these children: Richard of Pittsburgh; Mike married to Terry (Thomas), Colombus, OH; Virginia married to Karl Olchesky, Northern Cambria; Tom married to Catherine (Cameleri), Lancaster; and Robert married to Deana (Lloyd), Glen Burnie, MD. Also survived by grandchildren Tony, Joe and Ben; Elaine, Mark, and Marianne; Cassandra and Chelsea; and Bradley and Andrew; sister Rose Attilio, of Philadelphia; and sister-in-law Theresa Natarian, Independence, OH. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, where he served as Staff Sergeant of the 582nd Signal Automatic Battalian. Retired coal miner after 45 years at Barnes & Tucker Coal Co. #24D, Nicktown. Member U.M.W.A. Local 1269, Bakerton; Barnesboro Sons of Italy, American Legion and VFW. Member of former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church; and Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Altar and Rosary Society will recite the rosary, and Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by local Veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Central Pennsylvania Kidney Association, P.O. Box 2418, Altoona, PA 16603. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mr. Natarian, by Long-Contres.
