Frank A. Milko

MILKO - Frank A., 88, Northern Cambria, died March 31, 2005, at his son's home in Munster. Born Oct. 18, 1916, in Barnesboro, son of John and Julia Milko. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Anna A. (Mino), in 1987; an infant son, George; and several brothers and sisters. Survived by children: Agnes, and husband, Michael Panar Jr.; Frances, and husband, Robert Bopp; Richard; James; Louise, and husband, William Franko Jr.; Irene; and Donna. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Retired from Barnes & Tucker Coal Co. #24D Mine, Nicktown. Member of Local 1269, UMWA, Bakerton. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where Altar & Rosary Society service will be held at 3 p.m., followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery.
