Gaelynn R. (Wiewiora) Kerr

Kerr, Gaelynn R. (Wiewiora) 58, of Nicktown passed away July 12, 2016 at Grand Strand Hospital, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Born March 28, 1958 in Spangler, daughter of Richard J. Sr. and Darlene (Buza) Wiewiora. Preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew and Dorothy (Miller) Buza and Walter and Christine (Veltri) Wiewiora. Survived by parents of Northern Cambria,  loving husband of 26 years, Robert H. Kerr, Sr., sons Robert Kerr Jr. and Nicholas Kerr both at home and Glenn (Lora) Wolfe Jr., of  Mesa, Arizona, brothers Craig (Sherry), Chad (Cel) and Richard Wiewiora Jr. and sister Joy Lynn (Brian) Tibbott all of Northern Cambria. Nieces and nephews, CJ and Evan Wiewiora , Emil and Zach Layag, Hannah and Sarah Tibbott, Richie and Jensen Wiewiora and  many aunts, uncles and cousins. Graduate of  the class of 1976 at Northern Cambria H. S., and Clearfield School of Nursing in  1978. Member of Northern Cambria Rotary Club, where she was past president and recipient of the Paul Harris Award and very involved in the Rotary Scholarship Committee for many years. Formerly  employed at  Hillsdale Personal Care Home, Laurel Crest Nursing Home and presently employed at Watters Bros. Drug Store for 30 plus years. Gaelynn enjoyed going to her children's sporting events, spending time with family and traveling with the Kerr, Doherty, Hammarstrom, Bland and Duffy families and caring for her many Shih Tzu's. Gaelynn enjoyed her friends and taking care of her many customers at Watters Bros. Drug Store with a friendly smile. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Long-Contres Funeral  Home Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, Rev. Michael Gabler. Committal at  North Barnesboro Cemetery. In Gaelynn's memory contributions may be sent to Good Samaritan Food Pantry or Bishop Carroll High School.
