Genevieve M. Lubert

Lubert, Genevieve M., 78 of Northern Cambria, died August 6, 2005 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 16, 1927 in Carrolltown, daughter of Andrew and Annie (Lesky) Matiasovsky. Preceded in death by parents, husband Frank A. in 1984, sons Victor and Edward, brothers Tom and Frank Matiasovsky, and sister Julia Allen. Survived by children Rosemarie, Kathlene, and Dennis Lubert and Betty Ann Slasky, all of Northern Cambria, Richard of Watkins, Kenneth of Selinsgrove, and Donna, married to Dan Drass of Hastings. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Former member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, and present member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Avid bingo player. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
