Eget, George A. "Pap", 90, of Northern Cambria, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 6, 2005 at his home. Born September 12, 1914, in New Cado, son of Steven and Mary (Luther) Eget. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 55 years, former Josephine Marie Mongelluzzo in 1993; granddaughter Audrey Lunardi McClendon, many brothers and sisters, and son-in-law Donald Clipper. Survived by children Joanne, wife of Amadeo "Ham" Lunardi, Willoughby, OH; James and wife Doris (Carson), Northern Cambria; Gloria, wife of Robert Prelock, Wickliffe, OH; and Georgette wife of George Kutsor, Jr., Pontiac, IL; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also survived by best friend Robert Dolansky, Northern Cambria. An avid hunter who enjoyed his time with the Rorabaugh family of Burnside. He also enjoyed fishing with his family at his camp in Potter County; gambling in Atlantic City and Las Vegas; and picking blueberries in the summer for blueberry pies. Retired from Barnes & Tucker Coal Co. #20 mine, Carrolltown. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Altar and Rosary service will be held at 3:00 p.m. followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Rev. Monsignor Stanley B. Carson. Committal at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
