George Robert Kraynak

Kraynak, George Robert, 67 of Northern Cambria, died May 28, 2003 at home. Born February 12, 1936, in Urey, son of George and Marie (Lutsock) Kraynak. Preceded in death by parents, brother Richard, sisters Elizabeth Marino and Charlotte Stickney, and infant brothers George and Rudolph. Survived by wife of 41 years, former Monica Ann Wiewiora, and children, Karen and Karla, both of Alexandria, VA, George Robert Jr., and Gregory, both of Northern Cambria, and granddaughter Katarina. Also survived by brother, Thomas of Mahaffey R.D. and sister, Sonya Ostermayer of Ohio. He was the co-owner of Kraynak Coal Co, of Mahaffey. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery.
