Gerald A. "Jerry" Dinko

Dinko Gerald A. "Jerry", 61, of Northern Cambria, died August 18, 2003 at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born January 13, 1942 in Connelsville, son of Andrew and Anna (Ballant) Dinko. Preceded in death by father, first wife former Donna J. Salley in 1985, a brother Dan and sisters Bertha Dinko and Millie Mongell. Survived by mother Anna of Connelsville, second wife former Joan (Thompson), son Robert Dinko of Berckley Springs, West Virginia, step-children Theresa Cymbor of Colver, Joseph Tymenski of Fort Worth, Texas; Michael Tymenski of West Palm Beach, Florida; and Patrick Tymenski of Pittsburgh. Also grandson Justin Dinko and step-grandsons Matthew and Nathan Cymbor. Brother of Janet Fults of Indianapolis, Indiana. Employed as custodian at Northern Cambria School District. Jerry was an avid fisherman and hunter where he was a member of the Denny Salley Fishing Club and the Sheredy Family Hunting Camp. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Committal at St. John the Baptist R.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted by the family.
