Helen H. Kertis

Kertis, Helen H., 87, of Northern Cambria, died May 12, 2004 at Haida Manor, Hastings. Born February 4, 1917, in Barnesboro, daughter of John and Elizabeth Bartock. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jess in 1998, brothers Steve and John, sisters Mary Simon, Ann Milosavich, Betty Novak, and Agnes Davis. Survived by children, Paul Kertis, Pittsburgh, and Barbara, wife of the late Patrick Baker, Hastings, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. Saturday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
