Helen R. Yura

Yura, Helen R., 83 of Northern Cambria, died July 19, 2005, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born February 16, 1922, in Barnesboro, daughter of Michael and Anna (Singel) Yura. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers John, Michael, Peter, and Joseph. Survived by sisters Mary Domanick, Nicktown; Margaret Yura, Northern Cambria; and Ann Crawford, Camp Hill; and several nieces and nephews. Retired sales clerk from McCrory's 5 & 10 store. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. At Helen's request, there will be no viewing or visitation; and funeral service will be private. Interment St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 811 Chestnut Avenue, Northern Cambria, PA 15714.
