Hilda (Trout) Boothman

                Hilda M. Bootham, 88, of Northern Cambria passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at home.

                Born January 24, 1938, in Spangler, a daughter of the late Daniel and Izora (Bowers) Trout. Also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Boothman and son in law Richard Karlheim.

               Surviving are three children, Sharon (Jeffery) Jamison of Penn Run, Daniel (Sheila) Weaver of Alverda and Jeannie Karlheim of Carrolltown; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

                Hilda had a great appreciation for old country music, often finding joy in listening to her favorite songs. She also enjoyed dancing, which brought her happiness. In addition to her love for music and dance, Hilda was highly skilled in quilt making. Her talent for creating beautiful quilts was admired by those who knew her.

                A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Alverda Christian Church, 159 Penn Ave., Alverda, Pa 15710 with Pastor Travis Trimble officiating. Arrangements made by Barrett Funeral Home, Northern Cambria.
