James V Lallemand

Lallemand, James V. 71 Northern Cambria died March 28, 2015 at home. Born November 16, 1943 in Patton,  son  of Henry Lallemand and Catherine (Strasser) Short.  Preceded in death by parents, step-father Paul Short,  wife Shirley (Mason) who died in 2009 and brother Ted. Survived by children, James of  Kittanning and Kim Marusa of Northern Cambria, grandchildren, Angela Locke, Calvin, Tommy and James Lallemand and Caleb, Aaron and Abby Marusa. Brother of Bert (Barb) Lallemand of Altoona, David of Hollidaysburg,  Irene "PeeWee" Beunier of Patton,  Cathy (Dave) Rietscha of Portage, Michigan and Rev. Joe (Jenny) Short of Emporium and sister- in- law Catherine Lallemand. Also loving partner and best friend Sandy Shero. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Retired federal mine inspector from MSHA. Member of American Legion Post 614 Patton and vice president of it's home association. Also member of Patton VFW and Slovak Club. He was a Civil  War buff and loved riding his Harley and his Grizzly Quad and loved spending time with his grandkids.  At Jim's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be private at the convenience of his family. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Child Fund International, P.O.
