Janet M. (Hritsko) Birch

              Janet M. Birch, 76 of Cherry Tree passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Guardian Haida Health Care, Hastings.

               She was born March 14, 1946, in Spangler to the late Jesse and Trecia (Edmiston) Hritsko. She married James Birch on February 20, 1982. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2005. She was previously married to Daniel Rodriguez.

               Surviving is a daughter, Suzanne Waugaman and husband Joshua of Cherry Tree; a son Barry Rodriguez of Minnesota; ten grandchildren, Kendra Keith, Stephanie Keith, Ysabella Rodriguez, Jude Rodriguez, Jesse Williams, Nicole Williams, Tara Williams, Caitlyn Rodriguez, Jasmine Rodriguez and Maggie Mae Rodriguez; and a brother, John “Fiddler” Hristsko and wife Robin.

               She was preceded in death by a son John “Chief” Rodriguez.

               She worked in Washington D.C. for the FAA and loved sharing her stories about her job with her family. 

               Janet enjoyed reading and watching Fox News, Newsmax and crime shows especially Law & Order. She liked playing solitaire and trying her luck at the lottery. She was a former member of the Rembrandt Sportsman Club.

               Friends will be received Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria. Where a funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Greg McDonald.
