Joanne M. Anderson

Anderson, Joanne M., 69 of Northern Cambria, died March 1, 2005 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born February 25, 1936 in Patton, daughter of Irvin and Agnes (Cairns) Long. Preceded in death by parents, brother Gerald Long and sister Lucille Mihalovich. Survived by husband of 47 years Thomas, daughters Amy married to Roland D. Paronish, Jill married to Andy Banik, and Margie Anderson, all of Northern Cambria. Also survived by grandchildren Heidi and husband Jason Minns; Jarod and wife Jackie Paronish; Whitney and Haley Paronish; Mandy and Brady Banik; great-grandchildren Riley Minns and Colton Paronish. Sister of Eleanor Cihan, Patton; and Margie and husband Clark Farabaugh, Virginia Beach, VA. Also several nieces and nephews. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Rosary will be recited at 2:30 followed by Vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Carmelite Monastery, P.O.
