Joel G. Abrams

Abrams, Joel G., 22 of Northern Cambria, died March 1, 2005 at home. Born November 13, 1982, in Johnstown, son of Gregory and Mary Jane (Smith) Abrams. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Joseph E. Abrams. Survived by parents, maternal grandparents Bud and Mary Lou Smith, and paternal grandmother Virginia Abrams, all of Northern Cambria. Also survived by 2 year old son Levi Cruz, Indiana; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. Joel was an avid sportsman, a loving son, and was loved by his many friends and relatives. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Joy Blackburn. Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted in trust for his son Levi, c/o Prudential Insurance, 1320 Eisenhower Blvd, Suite 102, Johnstown, PA 15904.
