John Clifford (Griff) Griffin

Griffin, John Clifford "Griff" 69, of Glenn Campbell, died April 10, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born November 2, 1945 in Spangler, son of Paul and Laura Griffin. Preceded in death by parents and wife Connie (Carlson) in 2012. Survived by children; John Paul (Sultan)  of Fairfax, Virginia, Nile Christopher of Pittsburgh, Lisai (Herman) Keith of Irvona, Lorie (Todd) O'Shell of Freeport and stepson Eric (Brandy) Bernecky of Emeigh. Also grandchildren; Cindy, Belize and Aysa Griffin, Jonathan (Jen), Ryan ( fiance Charlotte Sheridan) Griffin, Kayleigh , Justin and Alexis Keith, Nicholas, Alexandria and Zack Bernecky, great-grandchildren; Michael, Gabriel Griffin and Carson Keith. Brother of Barbara Dunlap, Jane Redomsky and Larry Griffin. Also very good friend Bobbi Van Leer and her children Lola and Fox Van Leer. Jack was the owner of Griff's Inn of Glen Campbell. He retired from Greenwhich Colleries as a mine foreman. An  avid Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan. Life long member and former president  of Cherry Tree Braggers Club. Also member of Cherry Tree Cycle Club and Glen Campbell American Legion. He loved to shoot pool and was captain of Griff's I Pool Team. He loved to watch action adventure movies, loved to  drink Genny Light and he loved  his dog Brooklyn. There will be a visitation from 6 until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday April 15, at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria. Interment at North Barnesboro Cemetery.
