John J. Rajnish

Rajnish, John J., 86 of Northern Cambria, died May 17, 2003 at Haida Manor, Hastings. Born August 7, 1916, in Barnesboro, son of John and Verna (Shangula) Rajnish. Preceded in death by parents, brothers George, Frank and Edward, and sisters Irene, Mary, Helen, and Vera. Survived by wife of 56 years, Grace M. (Myers), brother Robert, many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and survivor of Pearl Harbor. Member of Barnesboro American Legion. Formerly employed with Barnes and Tucker Coal Co. and Rockwell STD. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Robert Kurka. Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by local Veterans organizations.
