Born February 1, 1951, in Johnstown, son of late John J. and Victoria M. (Maslak) Stranix. Survived by sister, Anna Marie Maurer of Johnstown, niece Raina Maurer of Ashtabula, OH, Godmother and Aunt, Dolly Zurenda, and other aunts, uncles and cousins. Member of Senior Activities Center, Patton. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
