John Witenski

               John Witenski, 83, of Northern Cambria passed early Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.      

               Born May 27, 1942, in Barnesboro to the late John and Helen (Petrisko) Witenski. Also preceded by two brothers, Robert and Edwin Witenski.

               Surviving by his beloved wife for 60 years, Ethel Witenski; two sons, Paul (Debbie) Witenski and Brian (Stacy) Witenski; six grandchildren, Emma Fox, Wyatt, Christopher, John and Joshua Witenski and Nicholas Smith; and a sister, Patricia Bell.

               John dedicated 19 years of his career to working in the steel mills. He was also passionate about hunting and fishing.

               Friends will be received Monday, August 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria with a funeral service being held at noon with Pastor Rick Gamble officiating. Interment will be at North Barnesboro Cemetery.
