Joyce M (Wilburn) Whited

Whited, Joyce M. 80 Northern Cambria died, May 19, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Haida, Hastings, due to complications following cancer. Born June 29, 1934 in Marstellar, daughter of Russell and Elva (Bowman) Wilburn. Preceded in death by parents, brother's, Kenneth and Donald Wilburn. Survived by husband, Wayne whom she married August of 1953, sons, Timothy (Deborah) and Randy both of Northern Cambria, Gary of Newport Ritchie, Fl, grandchildren, Tracy (William) Massey, Chad (Bri Perrone), Brian (Julie) Whited, Pam (Doug) Adrian, Shawn, Brandon and Taylor Whited. Also survived by nine great grandchildren and sister's Catherine Sinclair of Triangle, Va and Lois Claycomb of South Bend, In. Joyce graduated from Barnesboro High School in 1952 and worked at Riverside Market (Bi-Lo) until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Hope Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Uniontown United Methodist Church and was an avid bingo player. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Friends will also be received from 10 until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Uniontown United Methodist Church. Rev. Marty Cartmell  will officiate. Interment at McDowell Cemetery. All are welcome to come and celebrate Joyce's life.
