Kayleigh Jade Pershing

Kayleigh “KK” Jade Pershing, 14 of Northern Cambria passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born May 30, 2011, in Johnstown the daughter of Amanda Pershing and James Pershing, II.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three siblings, Emma, Riley, and Carson Pershing; her grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Kimberly Dabella and her paternal grandfather, James Pershing. 

KK loved listening to music, especially Sugar, Sugar by The Archies. She was a spirited, fun-loving child who found happiness in simple pleasures, particularly playing with her toys and watching bubbles drift through the air. KK had a bright smile and cheerful giggle that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her sweet nature brought joy to those around her and left her family with many treasured memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to rettsyndrome.org for Rett Syndrome Foundation in honor of Kayleigh. There will be no services. Arrangements are made by Barrett Funeral Home, Northern Cambria.
