Leonard G. Boothman, 88 of Northern Cambria passed away Saturday November 10, 2018.
He was born April 7, 1930 in Barnesboro a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Kilmer) Boothman.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda (Trout) Boothman; five children, Debra and husband Alan Thomas of Hastings, Lois Boothman of Lincoln, Delaware, Pamela and husband Dennis Phillips of Northern Cambria, Daniel and wife Darla Boothman of Lincoln, Delaware, Gregory and wife Agnes Boothman of Lincoln, Delaware; three step children, Sharon and husband Jeffery Jamison of Penn Run, Daniel and wife Sheila Weaver of Northern Cambria, Jeannie and husband Richard Karlheim of Carrolltown; 11 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; two siblings, James and wife Toshiko Boothman of Goodyear, Arizona and Josephine and husband Dan Semelsberger of Loraine, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Edwin, David and Richard Boothman and 4 sisters, Nancy Hurd, Patricia Langford, Edythe Stiles and Mary Boothman.
He was a graduate of Spangler High School and was a member of Church of Christ Christian, Cookport.
Leonard was a U.S. Airforce Veteran serving during the Korea Conflict.
He retired as a coal miner from Bethlehem Mines
Friends will be received Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m.
