Scott, Louis, 79, of Emeigh, died May 21, 2005 at Altoona Regional Health System, Bon Secours Campus, Altoona. Born October 5, 1925 in Caledonia, son of Richard and Virginia (Pirazzi) Scott. Preceded in death by parents; wife former Rose Marie (Matteotti) in 1984; brothers John, Richard & Samuel; and sister Anna Mae Zito. Survived by children Andrew, Lamsdale; Mark, Harrisburg; Brian and wife Patricia (Dunegan), Hastings; and Patrick, Emeigh; and grandchildren Christopher and Brandi; and Alexandra. Brother of Frank, Homassasi Springs, FL; Bill, Brockway; Mary Kernan, Winchester, VA; and Peg Vail, Emporium. Formerly employed with Buterbaugh Brothers Lumber Co. Retired from Barnes & Tucker Coal Co., #24D, Nicktown. Member of former Most Precious Blood Catholic Church; Member of UMWA Bakerton Local 1269. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
