Mae Fulton

Fulton, Mae, 85, of Cherry Tree, died November 2, 2003 at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born July 27, 1918 in Burnside Twp., daughter of Emanuel and Bertha (Ferrier) McIlwain. Preceded in death by parents, husband Paul Allen in 1966, brother Otis McIlwain, sisters Ruth Meckley and Helen Russell and grandson Billy Nagle. Survived by children: Verna Gail and Allen Paul both at home, Shirley Ann married to "Chub" Nagle and Janet Elaine both of Northern Cambria and Ronald Wayne married to Lou Ann (Kitko) of Cherry Tree. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Former member of Zion Bible Church of Stifflertown. Member of Harmony Grange # 1201. An avid book reader and dedicated mother and grandmother. Retired cook from Mountain View Manor in Hillsdale. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree. Friends also received from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the East Ridge-Harmony United Methodist Church, Rev. John Dallape. Interment at East Ridge Cemetery. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Fulton by the funeral home.
