Margaret L. Sholtis

SHOLTIS - Margaret L., 91, of Laurel View Village, Davidsville, formerly of Barnesboro, died Feb. 25, 2005, at Laurel View. Born Nov. 9, 1913, in Barnesboro, daughter of Paul and Susan (Fabian) Dolney. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George P., in 1990; brothers, Joseph and Victor Dolney; and sisters, Elizabeth Sebring, Delores Ploucha, Agnes Adams and Loretta Pawlowski. Survived by children, Regis P., and wife, Janice (Treacy), of Pinehurst, N.C.; Thomas, and wife, Lucy (Arcidiacono), of Olney, Md.; Mary Margaret, and husband, Richard Schiffhauer, of Johnstown; George P., and wife, Kathy (Zurenko), of Northern Cambria; and Deborah M., and husband, Richard Sheppard, of Evans, Ga.; also 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Sister of Francis Dolney, of Buffalo, N.Y. Member of former St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal, St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Laurel View Village Caring Fund, 2000 Cambridge Drive, Davidsville, Pa. 15928, or a charity of one's choice.
