Marian Carole (Davis) Woods

       Marian Carole Woods, Age 76, died on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness.  She was born on June 13, 1943 to Leonard and Geraldine (Hicks) Davis a beautiful curly haired little girl.  

      Carole was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her daughter Amanda (Mark) Parfitt of Durham, NC, Samuel Todd (Kathy) Woods of Meadville, PA, Jeffrey (Kristi) Woods of Branchville, NJ, seven grandchildren, Katy Jo (Cynthia Moody) Parfitt, April (Casey) Matthews, Alyssa (Spencer) Collins, Megan Woods, Ty Woods, Jacob Woods and Jaxson Woods, five great-grandchildren Landon, Adam, Luke, Finley and Eden and many nieces and nephew, two sisters Deanna (Melvin) Shapiro, Barbara (Richard) Brandes, two brothers Jim (Judy) Davis and Greg (Carla) Davis and her companion Don Hickok.

       Carole loved playing canasta with her daughter and sons, traveling with her family and friends, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She worked for 35 years as the office secretary at Penns Manor High School. 

        There will be a Memorial Service at noon on Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Cookport Church of Christ, 3094 Cookport Road Commodore, PA 15729.
