Marie Buterbaugh

Buterbaugh, Marie, 90 of Cherry Tree died March 22, 2004 at UPMC Lee Regional, Johnstown. Born July 2, 1913, in Pine Twp., daughter of Scott and Pleasant (Wike) Keirn. Preceded in death by parents, husband Clyde in 1989, and brother Carl Keirn. Survived by children, Ronald and wife Deanna (Farino), and Janet married to Jay Britton, both of Northern Cambria; Arthur and wife Rose Ann (Bonanno); Richard and wife Patricia (Dolney); Thomas and wife Victoria (Kirsh); and Melda "Suse" married to Joseph Bernard, all of Cherry Tree. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Sister of Hulda Gilson, Fairless Hills, PA; and Russell Keirn and wife Thoro, Huntingdon. Also survived by sisters-in-law Rosella Keirn, Penn Run; and Goldie Buterbaugh, Cherry Tree; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Member of Uniontown Church of Christ; and Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed writing in her diary. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.Thursday, Jon Dillinger, Minister. Interment East Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. 15213.
