Marjorie C. Linden

Linden, Marjorie C., 79 of Lauderhill, Florida and Northern Cambria, died February 18, 2005 at University Hospital in Tamarac, Florida. Born May 15, 1925 in Emeigh, daughter of Wayne and Martha (Price) Craver. Preceded in death by parents, and son-in-law Barry Silverman. Survived by husband of 57 years John; daughter Debbie married to David Leibowitz, Parkland, FL; grandchildren Jared Silverman, Chelsea and Mandee Leibowitz; and great-granddaughter Kayla Silverman. Sister of Carol Laningham, Bakersfield, CA; Roger, Omaha, Nebraska; and Glenn Craver of Northern Cambria. Also survived by Sister-in-law Pearl Smorto of Northern Cambria and several other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Aunts Margaret Price and Lucille Purcell, both of Dunedin, FL; several nieces and nephews; and various cousins. Graduate of Miners Hospital Nursing School. Received BS and Masters Degrees from IUP. Retired as school nurse for Northern Cambria School District; also former nurse for Dr. Raymond Dandrea. Past member of St. John's United Methodist Church; past member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Member of former Miners Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. Also member of the Retired Employees of Miners Hospital group. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Peter Foley. Interment Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association at Landmarks Bldg., 100 West Station Square Drive, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1122.
