Marthena R Scollon

Scollon, Marthena R. 77 Clearfield formerly of Philadelphia died April 8, 2016 at Christ The King Manor, DuBois. Born July 8, 1938 in Cherry Tree, daughter of James Alfred and Bernice ( Biggleman) Scollon. Preceded in death by parents and her companion James Krevel. Survived by brother, Robert Scollon of DuBois,  Survived by dear friend  Jerry Berkowitz and family, and many cousins. She studied at Simmons College and Upsala College for Library Science and received her ME.d from Villanova College. Marthena worked as a draftsmen at Bell Labs and retired from Philadelphia School District as a Librarian. Also a member of the Weimaraner Club of America. Friends received Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Pastor Marty Cartmell. Interment Citizens Cemetery.
