Obituary

                Martin “Cy” Boggetta, 80 of Northern Cambria passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at home. He was born June 12, 1942, in Moss Creek a son of the late Robert and Clara (Ray) Boggetta. He married Helen Miller on October 4, 1986, she preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by a son, Leon “Butch” Pierce; a brother, Robert “PeePee” Boggetta; two sisters, Barbie Lanko and Lori Boggetta.

               Surviving are three children, Brenda (Charles) Wilcox, Martin Boggetta, Jr., Ann Marie Mangan; siblings, Stella “Tootsie” Kopystecki, Nicholas “Buster” Boggetta, and Diane “WeeWee” (Byron) Kutz.

               Martin retired as a school bus driver for Northern Cambria School District. He previously was a welder for twenty plus years.

               He was a member of the Spangler American Legion Post #569, Barnesboro American Legion Post #508, Spangler V.F.W., Slovak Club, Rembrandt Club, and Phillies Social Club.

               Martin enjoyed hunting, wrestling, hanging out with family and friends. He liked playing horseshoes and listening to Sunday Polka’s and loved rebuilding cars.

               At Martin’s request there will be no services.
