Mary E. (Kozimor) Chura

Chura, Mary E. 93 Burnside, died October 4, 2016 at her family home. Born August 5, 1923, daughter of Marian (Michael) and Lucy (Holdys) Kozimor. Preceded in death by parents, husband Philip L. who died January 19, 2003 brothers, Joseph Kozimar and Walter Cashmere, sisters, Helen Chilenski and Margaret Craft. Survived by children,  Philip D. (Pat) Chura, Hampton Falls, NH, Shirley A. (John) Prasko, Hastings and William R. (Sharon) Chura, Burnside. Grandchildren, Philip, Joseph, Derek and Rachel Chura, Karen Joseph, Shannon Dumm and Heather Murray, Great-grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Cody and Gabrielle Dumm, Montana and Dakota Murray, London and Olivia Chura, Taylor and Daniel Hodge, Megan, Alicia and Rachel Walton and great-great grandson, Blake Walton.  Last surviving member of both sides of the families. A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A recipient of Paul Harris Fellowship on behalf of Northern Cambria Rotary Club and Hampton Falls Rotary Club. Mary loved gardening,  loved her family, and especially loved  her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received  from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at  11:00 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Rev. Larry Lacovic. Committal St. Bernards Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, please plant a perennial flower in Mary's memory.
